How to look for and how to handle the Truth

Everybody has the task to look for the Truth. But then the first thing what we can ask is what it is.
The accuracy of adjustment or conformity. and how are we going to react to that what is true or according to the facts of the case. Then when we consider something to be in agreement with reality and with accordance with the faithful adherence to Gods nature we should put forward in good faith as what we believe from the Bible to be true.

One of the truths lots of Christians take is that Jesus died, but then they see it as he died for them and that they are saved by faith in that. But are they? Does this fact negate other facts, that there is only one truth for example?

  1. “I marvel that ye are so quickly removing from him that called you in the grace of Christ unto a different gospel; which is not another [gospel] only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema. As we have said before, so say I now again, if any man preacheth unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema.” (Ga 1:6-9 ASV)

“Now faith is assurance of [things] hoped for, a conviction of things not seen. For therein the elders had witness borne to them.” (Heb 11:1-2 ASV)

“And if any man obeyeth not our word by this epistle, note that man, that ye have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.” (2Th 3:14 ASV)

“Whosoever goeth onward and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same hath both the Father and the Son.” (2Jo 1:9 ASV)

“for he that giveth him greeting partaketh in his evil works. Having many things to write unto you, I would not [write them] with paper and ink: but I hope to come unto you, and to speak face to face, that your joy may be made full. The children of thine elect sister salute thee. The elder unto Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth. Beloved, I pray that in all things thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when brethren came and bare witness unto thy truth, even as thou walkest in truth. Greater joy have I none than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth. Beloved, thou doest a faithful work in whatsoever thou doest toward them that are brethren and strangers withal; who bare witness to thy love before the church: whom thou wilt do well to set forward on their journey worthily of God: because that for the sake of the Name they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles. We therefore ought to welcome such, that we may be fellow–workers for the truth. I wrote somewhat unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. Therefore, if I come, I will bring to remembrance his works which he doeth, prating against us with wicked words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and them that would he forbiddeth and casteth [them] out of the church.” (2Jo 1:11-3Jo 1:10 ASV)

“that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you also, that ye also may have fellowship with us: yea, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ: and these things we write, that our joy may be made full. And this is the message which we have heard from him and announce unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1Jo 1:3-7 ASV)

“Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.” (Mt 7:13-14 ASV)

“[This is] the end of the matter; all hath been heard: fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole [duty] of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” (Ec 12:13-14 ASV)
