Heed of the Saviour

“For behold your calling, brethren, that not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]:” (1Co 1:26 ASV)

“Wait for Jehovah: Be strong, And let thy heart take courage; Yea, wait thou for Jehovah.” (Ps 27:14 ASV)

“but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.” (Jas 1:14 ASV)

“for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;” (Ro 3:23 ASV)

“and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory,” (Ro 9:23 ASV)

“I love Jehovah, because he heareth My voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, Therefore will I call [upon him] as long as I live.” (Ps 116:1-2 ASV)

“For thou hast delivered my soul from death, Mine eyes from tears, [And] my feet from falling. I will walk before Jehovah In the land of the living.” (Ps 116:8-9 ASV)

“Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you. Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour, whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world. And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, establish, strengthen you. To him [be] the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (1Pe 5:5-11 ASV)

“Salvation belongeth unto Jehovah: Thy blessing be upon thy people. [[Selah” (Ps 3:8 ASV)

“(for he saith, At an acceptable time I hearkened unto thee, And in a day of salvation did I succor thee: behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation):” (2Co 6:2 ASV)

“how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;” (Heb 2:3 ASV)

“God is unto us a God of deliverances; And unto Jehovah the Lord belongeth escape from death.” (Ps 68:20 ASV)
